Breaking the Ice

Well, took me a long, long time to start blogging, but yes finally doing it. Yeah, sigh! Some new year resolutions make you do batshit crazy stuff, this one's just fine. Big deal for a procrastinator! Well here comes this stereotyped week, where people say, "Oh yay! Love is around the corner." Duh. They say such days bring you closer to your loved ones, but really, God knows. Love just is, whatever it may be.

What i want to write tonight is getting side tracked. So, anyways, furthermore to life. Who knows what curves life throws at times. Sometimes it just stands still at a place, but I wish time stood still at a place as well.Nobody waits for you as everyone is busy picking tiles for their own life's path, setting their own roofs right, picketing their own fences. Well, you cannot blame people really. They have their own responsibilities, relationships and commitments to cover up, you know, like you have to do it. Sometimes I just feel like asking someone passing by :Are you happy doing what you're do?Happy doing what everybody else is doing? Happy doing just what you see on your path? Have you ever thought of treading upon the path just besides the normal path that lays ahead of you? The road not taken? Ever tried to peek into what's besides you rather than what's in front of you? Some of these questions may put you in a fix.

I picked up a hobby a few years back, photography(which everyone else is picking up these days, sigh) Well, from an aspiring photographer's point of view, is it really important that you must capture each and every picture-perfect moment in front of you? Is it really a must you click every thing pretty and beautiful?
Then why is it always nicer in the earlier phases of learning about photography, where you stand and just enjoy clicking a picture? Why later on you start panicking when you missed a breathtakingly amazing and perfect shot? Why is the earlier phase much more easier and more joyful? Because you don't stress it too much. Because you don't try to squeeze the most out of something, which is already better just by its mere presence. So next time a pretty scene comes by, or you happen to pass it by, stop the panic right there. Sit down and gape. Drool and gaze at it. Cherish it. It's pretty hard that the scene comes by again. So just relish what's in front of you. Or maybe just gaze upon your sides, and beyond. Some things more beautiful and captivating may catch your sight.Eyes are your best cameras, after all.

And that's when Reality Strikes.
